Azure DevOps Engineer

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in software development, DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or a related technical role
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and CI/CD concepts
• Proficiency with at least one scripting language (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
• Solid experience with version control systems, particularly Git
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with multiple teams in a cross-functional environment
• Proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative working style
• Advanced English proficiency, required for daily communication with international teams and stakeholders

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps pipelines or similar platforms (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes concepts)
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Application Insights, or Grafana
• Understanding of cloud security fundamentals (RBAC, Key Vault, Azure Policy)
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification (AZ-900) or similar is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with increasing autonomy as experience grows
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to define pipeline needs and implement automated delivery workflows
• Provision and configure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Write and maintain scripts to automate recurring operational tasks
• Integrate monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Datadog) into existing environments
• Document workflows, patterns, and CI/CD best practices for team reference
• Respond to and help resolve incidents related to infrastructure and pipeline failures
• Actively contribute to DevOps initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
• Proactively learn and apply new tools, technologies, and practices within the Azure ecosystem
